Project Appleseed Advanced Known Distance Event
This is an Advanced Known Distance event. This will be a long range event with distances out to 400 yards. Only previous Appleseed attendees should sign up.
This event will require a Centerfire rifle.
Safety Notice
- Keep ALL firearms in your vehicle until after the safety briefing and you are instructed to bring them to the firing line.
- No illegal firearms are allowed.
- At centerfire-friendly ranges, rifle cartridges are limited to 8mm (rifle) or .45 caliber (pistol and pistol caliber carbines).
- Effective 2021, The Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle can again now be used at Project Appleseed clinics. For more details, see: How to Prepare.

Cost
- Adult ticket – $100
- Range Fee – $20 ($15 for HISR members)
Waiver
If this will be your first time shooting at Hobbs Island Shooting Range, you must sign a waiver before your visit. This must be done online by following the appropriate link for either an adult waiver or a child waiver. The link will open a new tab when selected.
